About Clarkson , KY - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Clarkson is in Grayson County, Kentucky and has a population around 900. Once called "Grayson Springs Depot,” the town’s name was changed in 1882 to honor a local resort's owner, Manoah Clarkson. The area is full of friendly and down to earth people and there is a party or an event pretty much every weekend in the region in the warmer spring and summer months. For example, Clarkson’s Honeyfest is the "Official State Honey Festival of Kentucky” and is a fun festival that is appropriate for the whole family.

Every year, the adjacent community of Leitchfield puts on the Grayson County Fair, beginning the week before Labor Day. The fair features: a demolition derby, festival rides, truck and tractor pulls, crop contests, a beauty pageant and much more. It closes out each year with a huge Labor Day Parade. A Memorial Day Parade is also held annually and on hundreds of community members march from the Leitchfield firehouse to the county square holding signs, followed by a cookout. The town also hosts the Grayson County 4-H and FFA Ag Fair featuring farm and youth events and exhibits such as tractor contests, homemaker exhibits, and livestock shows. Summer in Central Kentucky is never boring and there is plenty of family fun in which to participate all through the hotter months. But, if you want to cool down and splash around you are not out of luck.

Kentucky locals use the beautiful weather of summer and spring to get out and take pleasure in their communities and neighbors. But, they also swim, fish, boat and more at the area’s many lakes and rivers. This part of the world is a truly secret treasure with spectacular landscapes, enthralling history, remarkable food, beautiful Bluegrass music, and more. The cyclic weather gives the locals a chance to enjoy water games, swimming and the like in the summer and then take sled rides and fight with snowballs in the winter.
